Sometimes magic sounds like tape, Robert. It's an illusion, unless I can't fix it, then it's a reality.Whoever battles with monsters had better see that it does not turn him into a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to be lazy.

=(Monza, 22nd October 2006 ??Four days on-going gaming tournaments now ended. The Grand Champion of World Cyber Games 2006 appeared to be Team Korea. It took about four years for Team Korea to get the Grand Champion title back in World Cyber Games since 2003. Team Russia won the second place in medal tally with one gold and one silver medal while Team Germany placed as the third with one gold and one bronze medal. Four countries including Canada, China, Poland and USA won the one gold medal respectively. The Korean Team Leader, Mr. Billy Son, declared: \"We've come to Monza, Italy, to recapture the Grand Champion, which had been taken away since 2002. We are really happy to be the Grand Champion this year again. Korean players proved themselves as the best player to worldwide e-Sport fans!\" Yeon Sung Choi, best known as \"IloveOov.\" won the final match of StarCraft: Brood War, playing against another member of his team, Sungjun Park: anyway they both contributed to make their country win the WCG trophy of the Grand Champion. Yeon Sung Choi in his interview held right after he won the gold medal said: \"For me it's the first time for me to participate in WCG and I am very excited and pride winning the gold medal. Although I had all the titles in Korean pro-game matches, I haven't got WCG title yet. So I really wanted to get this medal.\" On-going final matches on Sunday provide the audience exciting moment and the joy of watching gaming through the Italian commentators on site. During the Sunday matches, besides the above mentioned medalists of StarCraft: Brood War, the names of the other champions in four official games came out: the Chinese Xiao Fen Li, known as \"SKYCN,\" for WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, the Polish Team Pentagram for Half Life: Counter Strike, the German Daniel Schellhase for FIFA 06 and Wesley Cwiklo for Project Gotham Racing 3. The full day events ended up with the Closing Ceremony, including the award presentations to the medallists, an hip hop concert by famous Italian bands and a farewell party for players. Famous Italian female MC, Magda Gomez, hosted the closing ceremony and total of USD$462,000 were awarded to the medallists in 11 games including eight official games, one special tournament and two invitational tournaments. The most eye-catching moment was the awarding presentation of the winners of WCG 2006 and all the team members of Team Korea sang its national anthem together. Following the awarding ceremony, the WCG flag was handed over to Mr. Ralph Morton Executive Director of Seattle Sports Commission, which will host the WCG 2007 next year. After the closing ceremony, a hip hop Concert from 8 to 9.30 pm featuring Cor Veleno, Finley, and Frankie Hi NRG closed the first WCG Grand Final held in European continent. Under a sky lit by spectacular fireworks, the players from all over the world said goodbye to Italy and to the sixth edition of WCG at farewell party. The World Cyber Games drawn the attention of many Italian civil officers as well: the government-level recognition of video gaming industry in Italy has been testified by the visit of Mr. Filippo Penati, President of Province of Milan, who visited the tournament areas of the Autodromo, following the visit on Oct. 20th of the Italian Minister of Sport, Ms. Giovanna Melandri, who declared: \"WCG represents a special occasion for Italy and Europe.\" SAMSUNG Electronics is the worldwide sponsor of World Cyber Games.Microsoft X-box and AMD joined as the premier sponsors of WCG 2006 Grand Final while ATI and SyncMaster as official sponsors.
