   dork time …sorry iggy. you have to be touching two wires to get electrocuted. by the by, I’m a huge dork. but my favorite party is he still remembered to have the guy turn off his car.

   well…well, you’re both half right. You need only touch one wire to electrocute yourself, provided you grab the \”hot\” wire (that would be the black one in your outlet box). You also have to be touching the ground in some way. This completes the electric circuit from the wire to the ground. If you don’t believe me, try it out on your unsuspecting friends, or better yet, you neighbor’s annoying cat/dog/hamster/pet midget.
