Band: Rage Against the Machine
Album: "The Battle of Los Angeles"
The original masters of Rap-Metal fusion return with a vengeance on their 3rd album. Rage kick off _The Battle of Los Angeles_ with the triple threat
of "Testify", "Guerrilla Radio" and "Calm Like a Bomb". Zack is back in full
effect and his rhymes are delivered with the intensity of a man on the run
for his life. Tom Morello's guitar work is an inspired staccato stutter of
Black Sabbath meets riff heavy Led Zeppelin. The bass and drums fill out the
sound with wicked rhythms that propel these kickass songs straight to your
head. I've seen them play live twice and have never been disappointed. Do
yourself a favor and grab this album, crank up track 7 ("Born As Ghosts")
with the killer bass wah and scare the crap out of all the SUV driving,
family values types in your hood. Rage Against The Machine are keepin' it
real. What are you waiting for? It's on!
