lololololololDuring the reign of the Elmoreden Empire, the Ivory Tower labored to recover, study, and improve upon the magic of the ancient giants and delve into the mysteries of creation itself. The mages of the tower scoured the world for arcane artifacts, ancient knowledge, and even made pacts with the primordial spirits, all to enhance their power. In fact, their magical prowess was so great that their influence rivaled even that of the emperor.After the destruction of the old tower by Beleth, the Ivory Tower refocused itself and transformed into a facility purely for research and education. Many of the relics of the Golden Era remained within the tower, locked away for safe keeping, most forgotten with the passing of time.One of these forgotten artifacts was in fact a prison for Seven Spirits of Mischief, who were spawned from the chaos during the War of the Gods. Unsympathetic to either Shilen or the gods, the Seven Spirits wreaked havoc to both sides through their natural control of spirits and the elements. Shilen created an amulet to which she bound them, casting it into the sea where it disappeared from history until its discovery by the Ivory Tower.
